Halloween Festivities

Halloween is upon us and it’s exciting not just because you can go out and beg for free candy but there are just so many things you can do. Having trouble seeing what I’m talking about? Well here are some entertaining night festivities that will be scary, creepy, and fun with the family or your friends. Take a look at some things to do on Halloween.

Of course the obvious way to spend Halloween night is binging on a bunch of classic horror films with the friends or family. From watching classic John Carpenter films like Halloween and The Thing, to Donnie Darko. If you need some family friendly Halloween favourites then Casper the friendly ghost, Scooby Doo, and pretty much any Tim Burton film like Beetlejuice or The Nightmare Before Christmas. All you really need is to draw the blinds, grab a bunch of junk food and start movie night!

If you want to make the Halloween night lots of fun and memorable, why not give those trick-or-treaters a good scare for their sweets! Remember don’t startle the youngsters too much, just enough to scare not scar them. It’ll be a good laugh for everyone and will definitely add to the Halloween mischief.

Another great way to get a good spook while staying at home is to grab a horror game to play on your own or with friends. It will feel a lot more terrifying than you think when you’re controlling your every move on screen. Especially with all our fancy new tech and crystal clear images it’ll feel as if you are in the game. Take a crack at any one of the classic games from Resident Evil, DOOM, Silent Hill or more recent horror games liked Outlast or Until Dawn which have been highly acclaimed for their scares.

If none of these ideas peaked your interest why not make the ultimate photo booth and join in on the selfie craze this Halloween. To make the ultimate selfie grab some Halloween props, some lights, costumes, and that lovely selfie stick and start snapping Halloween themed photos with your family and friends! Whatever photos you end up with I’m sure they will be memorable and full of surprises.

Whatever you choose to do on Halloween I’m sure it’ll be loads of fun, whether you give yourself a good scare or someone else just stay safe and have a happy Halloween!
