Winter Colours are Here!

Now that the weather is getting colder, it feels like it’s time for things to be a little more festive! My work has put up our Christmas decorations already. Everything is in winter colours, and everyone is getting excited for the holidays! They really are coming up quick. It’s time to put together your gift lists! Before you know it, the stores will be super crowded and nothing will be in stock… Shopping online is my choice, to be honest. I know my friends prefer to shop in stores, but it’s like getting a gift for yourself, even if it’s a gift for someone else.

Crowds aside, the atmosphere around the holidays is really nice. Even though everyone is rushing and stressed, the streets are decorated, the snow can be beautiful, and if you try really hard you can imagine everyone is in a good mood. Somehow, even after hearing the same carols 8 times a day, the songs seem cheery and lift your spirits! And I always think it doesn’t feel as cold after it starts to snow.

It seems like Fall ended really fast, but it’s nice to get a head start with the holidays! It can be hard to shop and do all the things in time when you forget until the last minute. Obviously, you shouldn’t do your cooking this far ahead of time, but it’s nice to think about it early! You can freeze certain things like cookie dough, but there’s something special about making it fresh.

For those of you who like to keep the festive things out of the picture, it might be a bit annoying to see it already. But just think, soon it will be the New Year, and all that stuff will be gone. Might as well enjoy it while it’s here! Even if it’s gaudy and too bright, it won’t be around for too long. The winter colours are more muted but can be a bit much everywhere!

Getting gifts early is so rewarding. You get all the hard part of the gifts done. Ordering a gift basket takes a lot of the hard work out too! They will deliver it for you, and all you have to do is pick one. I know I get impatient about giving and getting gifts, so sending them early is nice too! Getting a gift early just makes that holiday feeling last longer. Especially when the gift shows all the winter colours and looks oh so festive! Check out this one, it’s super festive.

The colours you’ll see this time of year are of course reds and greens, but you’ll also see cool blues and silvers and golds! It’s so pretty to see all these winter colours. From decorations on trees to bows on presents, everything is done up pretty. I love it! My winter wardrobe features a lot of dark colours like burgundy and navy blue.
