Rogers Chocolate, YUM

It is so rare to get your hands on delicious and domestic chocolate!! I just had to dedicate this blog entry to my new discovery and fascination! They are called Rogers Chocolate and they are manufactured in British Columbia, Canada. Pretty cool, eh? 😉 Aside from these chocolates being practically local, I must say the flavour of these chocolates are just soo darn good! I just cannot resist! And, I love that I can take pride in the amazing chocolate from our very own!

I received my very first Rogers Chocolate as a gift from a close friend. I am not going to lie but, at first I had not even heard of the company. I was planning on re-gifting the box. Shhh… But thankfully before I did, my friend had given me a call raving about that box of chocolates she had gifted me. Apparently, it is super hard to get your hands on them and they`re right out of BC. In fact, my friend actually bought them while she was in Victoria, BC for a small getaway! So, I had to try it! And evidently, I am so glad I did. The coffee and caramel butter creams were absolute perfection. If you’re in love with coffee, you have to try this. Be ready to add another addiction!! 😛

I went to their website to take a look at the different chocolates they make. They all looked so rich and irresistibly delicious! And boy, they are extremely hard to get. Well, there’s a price to pay. They are somewhat costly but, I can only understand being a domestic business and super delicious. I do not have a problem supporting our country`s local business. They deserve the support with their great goodies!

And of course, to no surprise, their ratings are through the roof on Urbanspoon, Yelp and etc. There were some amazing reviews of their in-house ice cream. I am an ice cream lover and I definitely need to check out this place! Not only ice cream but, there were so many different chocolates that were recommended that I have yet to try of course! On top of that, I have always wanted to spend the time exploring the western parts of Canada. And now, this definitely makes it to my list of things to do on my journey!
