Two Months of School Left

There are two months left of the school year for my children, and it’s really starting to freak me out! I think this year has gone by the fastest out of all of them. I know I say that every year, but seriously—time has honestly flown by. It seems like just a day ago that it was the end of the summer and we were getting ready for another long school year. I just can’t believe it! It makes me wonder how we ever manage to get anything done. The time just goes by so fast that there is never a minute to breathe or relax!

The last two months of school are also always the most hectic—meaning they’ll go by the fastest. There are always a million things going on, and everywhere you look you’ve got something else to do! With the start of the nice weather we are always more active and plan many more weekend activities, which definitely contributes to us feeling more busy. On top of it, there are so many spring events at school, like soccer, softball and basketball teams, track and field, and more! There are end-of-year parties, graduations and just tons of events going on. Plus, sometimes teachers are in a bit of a panic, because they haven’t taught everything they need to!

The end of the school year also means the end of extra-curricular activities (yay!), but it also means that there are performances, recitals, and playoff games. Even though it’s great when they’re done (seeing as we won’t have to drive them anymore), the end of the activities always means more time and practice and, of course, the final product.

The last two months of school are always fun for the kids. There are end of school parties, field trips, trips to the park, and soccer at outdoor recess. It always goes by quickly, so be sure to enjoy it!
